I’ve been trying quite a few of these internet radio stations lately. Thanks to PDC, Pandora has been my favorite, especially since I figured out how to add more music to an artist station. My sis introduced me to last.fm, which is a nice format but seems to be more peer- and community-based and less music-specific. Casey introduced me to the hype machine, which is generally just indie rock, but it’s a great way to waste time.
Last.fm just played this tune by Moneybrother. Channeling Springsteen. With a little nod to Junior Vasquez at the beginning. Awesome. I laughed out loud — I’m surprised he didn’t actually shout “Rosie!” at some point in the song. . .
