At work I listen online to a Long Beach jazz station, KKJZ. In fact, it’s a great station, and Karen and I listen to it at home most of the time, too. Today they keep going on and on about holiday this and holiday that, how everyone’s off with family today and enjoying the day away from work.
I am at work.
It could not feel less like a holiday in London. Unless you consider extending drinking hours a moment worth giving thanks for.
I’m not really complaining, though. We were invited to a Thanksgiving dinner tonight by a friend of Karen’s from her program at LSE. He’s British. Should be fun. Just miss family around these times.

I’m lame, everyone. Sorry not to post. I have to say it’s pretty flattering to think anyone’s even checked, and even more so that some thought to post comments. I think I might even post again!
Maybe.
I think anonymous is Bram, by the way…
